Darrelle Revis Answers “Can Mark Sanchez Lead The Jets To Where They Want To Go?” “Yeah, he can. If he got us to two AFC Championship games at a young age, he can. He’s improved a lot and he’s going to keep on improving. Mark works very hard. This guy is here all the time. Usually here with me. He does what he does. STEPHEN HILL AND REUBEN RANDLE: ANOTHER LOCAL SHOWDOWN IS ON THE WAY

With Hakeem Nicks out 12 weeks after breaking a bone in his right foot paving the way for rookie Reuben Randle to take over early on, and Stephen Hill poised to start at wideout opposite Santonio Holmes, another interesting local battle between the Jets and Giants, could be thrust upon us by September.

One of rookie wide receivers. Both drafted in the 2nd round and both showing their skills off at club OTA’s this past week.

Hill caught an 80 yard TD from Mark Sanchez. Randle impressed his new club enough to where some who witnessed Randle’s work last week feel that if Nicks is out early in the year, the Giants can still stay on course.

As far as direct spotlights on “Green vs Blue” head to head matchups go, the QB’s will of course take centerstage. Mark Sanchez’s fourth season will be compared to Eli Manning’s fourth year. This as Sanchez takes on a challenger in his own camp, Tim Tebow. There are other Jets Giants positional comparisons to make of course as well but now it’s time to add Hill vs Randle to the mix. In a battle between which rookie will make a quicker impact, and which one will have to.
